Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms
By downloading, installing, or using CVCheck (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is operated by The Sky Bringup, LLC ("we", "our", or "us").
2. Current service
The App recognizes text on device from one image containing one resume page, then uses an AI service to provide text-structure signals, keyword evidence, improvement priorities, factual rewrite suggestions, and an optional job-specific review. The current version does not import PDF files, combine multiple pages, inspect fonts or visual layout, run an employer's applicant tracking system, predict hiring outcomes, or export a complete resume.
3. Premium plans and billing
The App is free to download. Optional purchases include an auto-renewing Weekly Premium subscription and a separate one-time Lifetime Premium purchase. The price and billing period shown by the App Store before confirmation control your purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Weekly Premium renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Refund requests and billing questions are handled by Apple. Apple's Standard EULA also applies.
4. Service limits and availability
AI review requires an internet connection and may be subject to reasonable per-device or account limits, provider availability, maintenance, and abuse-prevention controls. Limits may change as the service evolves. Do not attempt to bypass technical or purchase controls.
5. AI results and user responsibility
Results are editing suggestions based on recognized text and may be incomplete or incorrect. They are not professional career, legal, or hiring advice and do not guarantee interviews or employment. You are responsible for reviewing every suggestion and keeping employers, dates, qualifications, metrics, and other resume claims truthful.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the resume image, recognized text, job description, and edits you provide. You grant us and our service providers the limited right to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the review service. Submit only content you have the right to use.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive activity
- Submit content you do not have permission to process
- Attempt to bypass usage, purchase, security, or access controls
- Interfere with the App, API, or third-party services
- Reverse engineer the App except where applicable law expressly permits it
8. Intellectual property
The App, its design, software, and original materials are owned by The Sky Bringup, LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the App to you.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted access or error-free AI results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the App. Any total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the App and related purchases during the applicable claim period.
10. Suspension or termination
We may suspend access to online features when needed to protect the service, comply with law, address abuse, or enforce these terms. You may stop using the App at any time and manage purchases through Apple.
11. Changes
We may update the App or these terms as the service changes. Revised terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the applicable state law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer law in your location requires otherwise.
