Introduction

The Sky Bringup, LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the CVCheck mobile application (the "App"). This policy explains what data the current App processes, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

Resume image and text processing

  • Selected image: The App accepts one image containing one resume page. Text recognition runs on your device, and the selected image is not uploaded to our service.
  • Recognized resume text: The text recognized from the image is sent to The Sky Bringup service and its configured AI provider to generate the review.
  • Optional job description: If you provide a job description, it is sent with the recognized resume text to generate job-specific keyword and alignment feedback.
  • Content in a resume: Resume text can contain names, email addresses, phone numbers, locations, employment history, education, and other personal information. Do not submit information you do not want processed for the review.

Other data we process

  • Pseudonymous identifiers: A stable device identifier and service account identifier support usage limits, entitlement reconciliation, fraud prevention, and first-party analytics.
  • Product interactions: Screen views, review actions, paywall actions, and feature events help us operate and improve the App.
  • Purchase records: Product identifiers and App Store transaction records are processed to verify Weekly Premium and Lifetime Premium. We do not receive your payment card or bank details.
  • Diagnostics: Technical records may include request status, timestamps, latency, app version, device or session identifiers, IP address, user agent, and error details.

Device permissions and local storage

  • Camera: Used only when you choose to photograph one resume page.
  • Photo Library: Used only when you choose an existing resume-page image.
  • Local history: Completed review results may be stored on your device so you can reopen them. Removing an entry or uninstalling the App removes that local copy according to iOS behavior.

How we use data

  • Generate the resume review and optional job-specific feedback
  • Provide purchase access and restore eligible purchases
  • Apply service limits and protect the service from abuse
  • Measure product reliability and improve the user experience
  • Investigate errors, security events, and support requests

We do not sell resume content or use collected data for cross-company advertising tracking.

Service providers

  • The Sky Bringup API service: Authenticates requests, applies service limits, routes AI review requests, verifies purchases, and records operational diagnostics.
  • OpenRouter and the configured AI model provider: Process recognized resume text and optional job descriptions to generate review results. See OpenRouter Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
  • Apple: Provides the App Store, purchase processing, and subscription management. See Apple Privacy Policy.

Retention and security

The App does not upload the original resume image. Recognized text and optional job descriptions are transmitted over HTTPS for processing. Local review results remain on the device until removed. Operational records and provider-side processing are retained only as needed for service, security, legal, and support purposes, subject to the applicable provider policies. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we use access controls and transport encryption appropriate to the data flow.

Your choices and rights

You can avoid sending resume text by not starting a review, omit the optional job description, delete local review entries, or uninstall the App. Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data. Contact us using the address below. We may need limited information to locate records associated with a pseudonymous identifier.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, its providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above.
